This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines permitted and prohibited uses of the Restro IT Platform. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. Permitted Uses
The Platform may be used only for:
- Operating a legitimate, licensed food service business (restaurant, cafe, cloud kitchen, bakery, etc.)
- Managing food menus, orders, and customer communications
- Processing customer payments for food and beverages sold at your establishment
- Analysing your restaurant's sales and operational data
2. Prohibited Activities
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Violating any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
- Money laundering, tax evasion, or financial fraud
- Collecting payments for services not actually delivered
2.2 Payment Gateway Restricted Categories
The following business types are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination:
- Gambling, betting, or games of chance
- Adult content or adult entertainment services
- Drugs, narcotics, or prescription medication sales
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
- Pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes
- Cryptocurrency trading or exchange services
- Forex trading or investment schemes
- Counterfeit goods or trademark-infringing products
- Any goods or services on the RBI negative list for payment aggregators
- Tobacco or alcohol (unless permitted by applicable local law and disclosed upfront)
2.3 Platform Misuse
- Attempting to access accounts or data belonging to other Subscribers
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
- Using automated bots, scrapers, or tools to extract data at scale
- Overloading our servers through denial-of-service attacks
- Circumventing security measures or access controls
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trial offers
2.4 Content Violations
- Uploading false, misleading, or fraudulent menu information
- Impersonating another restaurant or brand
- Uploading copyrighted images or content without authorisation
- Uploading defamatory, obscene, or harmful content
2.5 Payment Misuse
- Processing payments for goods or services not delivered through your restaurant
- Splitting transactions to avoid payment gateway limits
- Colluding with customers to fraudulently reverse legitimate charges (friendly fraud)
3. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, report it to support@restroit.com immediately.
4. Consequences of Violation
Depending on severity, violations may result in:
- Written warning
- Feature restriction
- Account suspension (data preserved for 30 days)
- Permanent account termination (data deleted after 30 days)
- Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Legal action for damages
